Bill Cho's United Taekwondo Center runs this website for our families and students. This page explains in plain language what information reaches us through the site and what we do with it.
Information you send us
When you fill out our contact form or birthday party form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address and phone number, your student's name and age, the party date and guest count you request, and any message or notes. We use it only to answer your request and arrange what you asked about.
Where it goes
Your request is emailed to our studio inbox. A private copy is also saved on our web server, outside the public website, so a request isn't lost if an email goes astray. Those saved copies are deleted automatically after 90 days. Emails stay in our inbox until we delete them.
We don't sell your information or share it for marketing. The only other companies that handle it are the ones that run our website and email: GoDaddy, our web host, and Google, our email provider.
Children
Our forms are meant for parents, guardians and adult students. Please have a parent or guardian send any information about a child. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, let us know and we'll remove it.
What's collected automatically
Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser types and pages visited. GoDaddy also adds a small monitoring script to our pages, which sets its own cookies to count visits and measure site performance. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens, and the map on our home page comes from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. We don't add advertising trackers or analytics tools of our own.
Member and Demo Team videos
Training videos in our password-protected member areas play through Vimeo, which may set cookies and collect viewing information under its own privacy policy. Your browser also remembers the last video you watched on each page. That stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
Photos
Our gallery links to photo albums from school events, and those photos may show students. The albums are hosted on Microsoft OneDrive and can be viewed by anyone with the link. If you'd like a photo of you or your child taken down, contact us and we'll take care of it.
